I used wrap not second skin and it was in summer and i was completely fine i didnt even have any scabbing. And my tattoo healed perfectly

Cling wrap for me. Learnt I was allergic after my first tattoo. I had to call up my tattoo artist the next day because my arm was burning and red.

My first tat all I did to it was put a quaphor amd clean with Luke warm water turned out amazing

I had the opposite happen… had 2 artist try and convince me their design is what I wanted instead of what I was asking for. Wanted to do Japanese instead of traditional like I asked for…🤦‍♂️just cuz they felt more comfortable doing their usual work. Needless to say I finally found a traditional guy and have been using him ever since. Once you find a good artist stick with them so everything matches. Always pay for good work and make sure you’re getting what you want. Not just what the artist feels comfortable doing. 👍👍💯💯

And this is why i dont have tatto yet, my brother wanted a wolf.. The artis did draw bear ears on a wolf.. "Wolfs has rund ears" So my brother had to re draw it years later.. Ask before you do your own spinn on it.

My first tattoo was a full rib tattoo piece and it covers my entire left side. I got it from an old school professional who is famous and cool. He was so nice to me about it. When it was all done, the young shop assistant asked if I wanted to get my other side tattooed. Before I could respond, he told her - “he could sit through it, no problem.” Every tattoo I have gotten since - except one - was from him and I would never go to anyone else. The only tattoo I have that was not from him was for free and it was by a woman who is a famous, female tattoo artist and good friend of mine. Still - I only have one from her.
